Postage Stamps used in the German Marshall Islands
Doubtful Handmarked Cancels

On occasion stamps would not have been cancelled. due an oversight. These would be devalued by the postmaster at the receiving post office. The image below shows two 5 Pfennig stamps which have been devalued accordingly. It is deemed doubtful, though that the item shown below is genuine usage.
