On occasion totally fictitious cancels were produced such as the one shown below.

Forged Cancel designed similar to Cancel I. Note that the forger has used the old spelling MARSCHALL INSELN no longer used since 1900, apart from the fact that such G.R.I. overprinted stamps were never used on Jaluit.
