The Jaluit-Gesellschaft operated two steamers in Micronesia, the Oceana (from 1901-1903) and the Germania (from 1904-1914). The initial route of the Oceana ran Sydney-Jaluit-Pohpei-Yap-Palau-Pohnpei-Jaluit-Sydney, using cancel Oceana I. Voyages commenced 1 January 1901. When the Norddeutscher Lloyd terminated its Sydney-HongKong run end of 1901, the Jaluit Gesellschaft extended its run to HongKong and included German New Guinea in its route. |
