Postage Stamps used in the German Marshall Islands
Fournier Forgeries—Cancels
by Dirk H.R. Spennemann

Introduction

Fournier not only forged of Eagle and Fournier forgeries of Yacht series stamps, but also provide the former with forged cancels. These had first come to the attention of the philatelic press in about 1910.[1] The Fournier date cancel itself seems have been forged and applied other stamps by other parties.
