Postage Stamps used in the German Marshall Islands
Eagle Issues--Plate Faults

An analysis of the printing of the various Eagle issue plates has shown that plate faults exist. As the Marschall-Inseln and Marshall-Inseln issues were overprinted on standrad Eagle series sheets at the time of printing, such plate faults were carried through.
 

3 Pfenning

The 3 Pfenning stamp has a know plate fault in the upper right hand scroll where the line is not closed.
