Postage Stamps used in the German Marshall Islands
Sheet Types Eagle Series
by Dirk H.R. Spennemann

The German Stamp printery used a number of sheet types for the Eagle Series, as well as the Yacht Series stamps. These are detailed here. It should be noted that Friedemann, on whose work these images are based, changed his nomenclature between the 1908 and the 1921 edition. As the bulk of the discussion regarding the identification of the various Eagle issues occurred before 1921, the 1908 nomenclature is used.
