Comments: It is likely that this is the wato acquired by Thomas Farrell in 1876. In 1877/78 the firm Henderson &MacFarlane, also of Auckland, purchased Farell's property in theMarshalls at a public auction.

Juridj Island, Ebon Atoll

Size of parcel of land: 13 hectares and 90 ar. The property encompasses the northern tip of the island. The property is said to be about 3/4 of the entire island {35}.

Original acquisition in: 1863 or 1864 traded by IroojJeimata to A. Capelle.

Transfers since original acquisition: 1883 (13 November) sold to Deutsche Handels- und Plantagengesellschaft for $ 275.- At the time of the sale the proprty comprised "one wooden dwelling with thatch roof, one wooden copra house with thatch roof and one wooden cookhouse with thatch roof" {8}. 1887 (21 December) property is transferred to the Jaluit Gesellschaft. {22}; In 1890 a dwelling house, 1 store cum ware house and two native houses stood on the property {22};

Medj Island, Ebon Atoll

Size of parcel of land: 25 ar. The property comprises the westernpart of the island, measuring 150' by 150' {35}

Original acquisition in: 1876 (13 April) Sold by Letokwa(Lejeboik) to F.Hernsheim & Co. {22}.

Transfers since original acquisition:1887 (21 December ) propertyis transferred to the Jaluit Gesellschaft. {22}; In 1890 a dwellinghouse , 1 copra house and one cook house stood on the property {22};
