Commemorative Cachets

compiled by Dirk H.R. Spennemann

This page presents some images of stamps and covers produced for the Pan American flying boat service across the Pacific to Singapore. On 9 May 1941 PanAm extended its route network by adding a Manila-Singapore leg. As with the rest of the PanAm network in the Western Pacific, the service was terminated after Pearl Harbor.
